What to Expect

Bethel is a church family, and we do our best to make the church feel like family. We recognize that nobody is perfect, and we all come to worship with the burdens and cares of our lives. While we take God seriously, we try not to take ourselves too seriously. You will find most people dressed casually while others prefer to dress more formally.

What is the Service like?

Worship services at Bethel have a traditional flow with historic elements like a Call to Worship, Prayer of Confession, and Scripture readings. Additionally, we desire to involve the whole family at Bethel through children's messages and a time of sharing prayer concerns. Our musical selection emphasizes both traditional and contemporary hymn while incorporating modern praise songs occasionally. We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of every month.

For the Kids

We understand that it can be difficult for parents to bring young children to church. They can cry, fidget, and distract others. At Bethel, we value having children in the service so that they can learn the rhythm of worship by observing their parents and other adults singing, praying, and listening. There is a children's message almost every Sunday after which children up through Kindergarten may go to the nursery.
